Wedding Blog: Ruth Alexander X Sean & Stacey

If there is one wedding that we will remember forever – it’s Sean and Stacey’s. A myriad of soft white, fresh green and luxurious metallic hues, their Ibiza wedding on 9^th June 2022 was clean, crisp and effortlessly sophisticated. The couple wanted to focus on elegant florals (with Aurea Flowers working their magic) and music, so that their loved ones were able to enjoy a true Ibizan experience. We couldn’t be happier to share a snippet from their celebration, with a huge thank you to Tali Photography for their exquisite images.

The couple fell in love with Atzaro Hotel, one of the most adored and sought-after hotels in the whole of Ibiza. The setting is renowned for its fusion of glamour and authenticity, set within 14 hectares of manicured gardens, courtyards, terraces and more. It’s no wonder that Sean and Stacey knew it would provide the perfect backdrop for their love story.

As guests arrived on the official wedding day, they were guided down to the glistening pool where the arrival drinks were waiting for them. The beautiful floral ceremonial installation offered a glimpse of what was to come, with elegant white floral runners lining the aisle and a large cascading archway that framed the pagoda at the end of the pool.

Sean and Stacey’s friends and family were invited to take their seats on either side of the aisle, so they could enjoy what was an emotional and heartwarming wedding ceremony, overseen by celebrant Melchoir. Bridesmaids turned heads in olive green silk ruched dresses, setting the scene for the show-stopping bridal procession. Hand-in-hand with her mum, Stacey effortlessly drifted down the aisle in an exquisite Galia Lahav gown, with the soulful sounds of Mic Lowry playing in the background. Sean, her husband-to-be, awaited the bride’s entrance in black tie attire under a canopy of statement florals.

After the couple had exchanged their vows and officially tied the knot, Sean and Stacey’s loved ones were guided to the spa area, where the day beds and parasols provided escapism from the scorching Ibizan sunshine.

Mic Lowry continued to play, offering soulful tunes throughout an afternoon of laidback-meets-luxury vibes. The pagoda was the perfect place for the party to begin, where the team at Velvet Circus Ibiza had styled the space with twinkling crystal chandeliers and oodles of greenery.

White clothed round tables were layered with fresh white florals, crystal cut glassware, gilded edged crockery and flickering tealights – the ultimate opulence for Sean and Stacey’s Ibizan wedding.

After a collection of fabulous speeches, Sean ad Stacey took to the floor for their first dance as newlyweds. Aurea Flowers transformed the space with florals adorning the stage, while dry sparklers lit up the dance-floor as guests danced to Mic Lowry’s tunes. The couple went all out with their atmospheric lighting, adding ambience to the venue with floating tealights in the pool and fairy lights carefully draped across the day beds.

The iconic White Island Orchestra were next on stage, bringing all those much-loved Ibizan classics to the dance-floor. We adore working with this powerhouse band and you can always guarantee that they’ll set the tone for a night of partying. Drums by Sam Slattery acted as a calling card for guests to head into the club space for even more unadulterated fun, with DJ Colin Francis at the helm for music. A bespoke neon sign was hung behind the DJ booth, along with mirror balls and metallic touches sprinkled everywhere, bringing the disco vibe to life.

The set-up provided the ultimate party for Sean, Stacey and their favourite people.
